Location: San Francisco now, but I’m a cowgirl at heart
School Attended: Stanford
Profession: Fundraiser for none other than The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
Race: Still deciding this year – I have my eyes on the marathon in Austin
Why: Because I need a year to recover from my first attempt at iron status! And to witness 60+ athletes become Iron.
Motivation: We haven’t cured blood cancers…yet.
Goal: To see everyone cross the finish line and raise $400,000 for the LLS. Still searching for that elusive 100%.
Other races: I’m sure I’ll find some to occupy my time.
Favorite tri gadget/gear items: DeFeet arm and leg warmers, the flames jersey, and a rain jacket for those Wildflower Training Weekend rides. Maybe someday Alberto will let me borrow his Garmin.
Favorite Books: Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells (have you guessed I’m from Texas?), business books, Appetite by Nigel Slater (the best cookbook ever)
Favorite Movies: When Harry Met Sally, Best in Show, Superstar with Molly Shannon, comic book movies like Batman and Spiderman
Favorite Songs/Artists: too many to name, I like it all
Favorite Workout Songs: I have a wonderful country workout mix but I also like Dare You to Move by Switchfoot, Great Day to Be Alive by Travis Tritt, A Little Less Conversation (the Elvis remix)
Morning or Evening: I am with Kristen Trubey, what are we talking about here?! Ok, morning.

Favorite Eatery/Restaurant: For $5, the burrito place by the LLS office; for $15, Memphis Minnie’s on Haight and Fillmore; for $50, Izzy’s Steak and Chops
