Why: The challenge, the cause and Kristen Trubey.
Motivation: I always like to surprise people. No one thought I could ever finish a marathon. I did, and with a great time!
Goal: To finish……ok, to finish strong.

Favorite tri gadget/gear items: None yet…..this is my first exposure to the “Tri” world.
Favorite Books: When I have time to read, without passing out from pure exhaustion, I am slowly moving thru “Wicked”……and I mean slowly….I always have to go back a chapter to remember!
Favorite Movies: I am child of the John Hughes era……”Sixteen Candles” and “The Breakfast Club” top the list as does “The Goonies”. Of the newer era, “The Sweetest Thing and “Best in Show” still make me laugh.
Favorite Songs/Artists: Junior Senior, Scissor Sisters…. and, I still kick it with Jon Bon Jovi and Steve Perry!
Favorite Workout Songs: “Living on a Prayer”!
Morning or Evening: Afternoon……I do own a bar!

When you have downtime, how do you spend it? Don’t have a lot of down time, especially now. When I can, I like to travel….I have spent a lot of time in Mexico.
