Thought I’d look up an old coworker who I once heard say, “I just LOVE to run!”
Whew, I guess so! The next thing I know I look her up and she’s running triathlons all over the place and training like the bionic woman!
I’m VERY HAPPY for you Maritza that you now realize (”I’m so cute”) what we’ve all been saying all along. I’m sorry you had to run, swim and bike 20,000 miles to come to that place! Maybe a spa package at Nordstrom might have been an easier way to do it, but hey, knock yourself out! I don’t like anyone messin’ with my own Private Idaho either, so I won’t mess with yours!
Let me guess… you warm down with a nice couple hours on a stretch rack?? Or maybe a mellow sun tanning on a bed of hot coals???
I’m just giving you a hard time! You Triathlon people are impressive as hell! I take a bow to all of you!
Who knows, maybe some day I’ll be so ambitious?? I finally decided after 46 years of constant flagrant abuse of my body that it may just be time for me to finally change my ways. I actually go to the gym now everyday before work. (I’m up to 5 miles on the elliptical machine at level 5 resistance and I can whip out 40 to 50 pushups with relative ease. That’s up from 2 to 3 when I started.)
Of course, it’s the eating that’s the most difficult part for me. I know that if I get that under control, the rest will have been of little value. So I’m working on that too.
Siendo bipolar no me ayudó tampoco.
I’m very happy for you Maritza! Keep up the great work! I’ll speak for myself when I say that I always knew you were a gem, a superhuman among us mere mortals.
I still think a simple mudbath would have … ☺
