Goal: To raise money, awareness, and hopefully some spirits along the way to completing my first Ironman.

Favorite tri gadget/gear items: Gear makes me nervous. I’ll say fuel. As in, savory snacks.
Favorite Books: Olivia by Ian Falconer, A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry, The Empty Mirror by Janwillem Van De Wetering, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse, and of course, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Blume.
Favorite Movies: Manhattan, Zelig, Rushmore, The Royal Tennenbaums, Zoolander, Room With A View, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Stealing Beauty, Shakespeare in Love, The Big Blue to name a very few…
Favorite Songs/Artists: Oh this is so hard. Beastie Boys, Beatles, Beethoven. It’s an obvious thread.
Favorite Workout Songs: Anything really slow.

Favorite Eatery/Restaurant: Papalotes for fish tacos, Golden Era for karma building, Chez Panisse for frou-frou, Tsunami for sushi, Delfina for anything, Zuni for oysters and champagne, Walzwerk for East German eats, Destino for tapas… Oh, I like food.
