the off-season

Cool article (via Bobbie) on what to do during the off-season.

In summary:

  1. Take a break from structured workouts.
  2. Spend time w/ people you care about.
  3. Try something new.
  4. Read a book that’s not related to swimming, biking, or running.
  5. Get your bike overhauled.
  6. Or, buy a new bike either a 2007 or get a deal on a 2006 bike.
  7. Throw out your dirty workout clothes.
  8. Become a mentor for the sport.
  9. Clean your dirty @ss house and other things you’ve neglected.
  10. Clean out your dirty @ss water bottles too.
