The Haleakala bike ride, or what Raf’s not doing by bike while in Maui. I am, however, adding web bio information for IronTeam staff 2007 (slowly but surely).

In summary, Haleakala is this big inactive volcano in Maui, 10,000 feet in elevation. A nice little challenge ride is to ride from the ocean (sea level) all the way up to the top. It’s only 35 miles to the top and can take anywhere from 4 hours to 7 hours. Piece of cake. Just not during my “off-season”.
