1. Hometown: Woodside, Ca.
2. Schools Attended: Mercy High School in Burlingame, Cal Sate Hayward, now known as Cal State East Bay. I’m looking at possible graduate schools for the not-so-distant future.
3. Current or Coolest Jobs: Dominatrix
4. Races You’ve Done and Would Do Again: Would love to do the 24 Hours of Adrenaline again. I love IM Canada which is why I keep doing it every year.
5. Why Ironman/IronTeam and Why Now: Why not? We’re a fun group of people that are doing something to help many others now and in the future.
6. Favorite Tri Gear(s): I have so many favorites, my bikes, my GPS, the super sexy spandex, I can’t pick just one.
7. Favorite Food/Restaurants: Once again, I have so many favorites, it’s hard to choose. I just love to eat. I would have to say it’s my favorite thing to do. I like Milagros in Redwood City, the HMB Brewery in Half Moon Bay, and my local favorite is the Village Pub in Woodside.
8. Favorite Vacation Spots: I love Colorado. I know this isn’t sun, sand, and beaches but is one fun place. It has some of the best snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain and road biking and beautiful scenery.
9. Favorite Book, Movie, Web site or all of the above: A Walk In the Woods, Office Space, ironteam.net,
10. What do you like to do when you’re not working out? Playing with my insane Australian Shepherd, Brodie. (His nickname at daycare is psycho.) He can go for 18 mile runs and is still ready to play!

Elaine,
It’s Chris from the Southbay Ironteam, I was the guy in the red t-shirt after the ride on Saturday in Portola Valley. We talked for a bit about what you do and I mentioned that I changed my core strength set with the run team based on how you killed us that day in Pleasanton.
Anyway, I was wondering if I could pick your brain on that a bit sometime. It looks like I’ll be back on the Ironteam next season and my role will be close to what I was doing on the run team. Runners and Ironteamers are two different animals so I’d love to get you take on what works best with the hard core set. Let me know what you think!
