1. Hometown: Currently - Pleasant Hill

2. Schools Attended: University of Nevada, Reno and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

3. Current or Coolest Jobs: Current - senior project manager for a planning and engineering firm in Walnut Creek. Coolest - I haven’t had a coolest job yet but I dream of working at the Marine Mammal Center in Marin, at an elephant sanctuary or a zoo, or maybe even the humane society . . . something with animals.

4. Races You’ve Done and Would Do Again: Wildflower (Olympic and Half), Soma (Half), Alcatraz and Big Kahuna (Half). I would definitely do them all again but would especially like to do Alcatraz next June and will be throwing my name into the lottery. I hope to get a few of my IronTeam team mates to do the same.

5. Why Ironman/IronTeam and Why Now: Mike Kyle caught me in a weak moment and talked me into it. Actually, I can’t blame it on Mike but the temporary insanity that I’ve found myself in these past several months and the realization that I no longer have the old excuses that I used when asked about doing an Ironman. If not now, when?

6. Favorite Tri Gear(s): I must not be a tri-geek yet because I don’t think I have favorite tri gear. How about my Bento Box?

7. Favorite Food/Restaurants: Favorite food - I love most everything but especially Italian, Mexican and Thai food. Favorite restaurants - Roy’s, Slanted Door, Mustards, Dona Tomas, Venezia . . . I could go on.

8. Favorite Vacation Spots: Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Mexico . . . anywhere warm and tropical. Oh, and Whistler, B.C. for skiing.

9. Favorite Book, Movie, Web site or all of the above: Recent favorite books - Kite Runner, Atticus. Recent favorite movies - The Lives of Others, The Waitress, Blood Diamond

10. What do you like to do when you’re not working out? You mean besides work and sleep . . . I used to like to snow ski, scuba dive, anything outdoors and spend time with friends and family.

Send over two truths and a lie about yourself.
