Closed Fist


Closed fist (CFS): Hold onto your thumb (when you have something to hold it is easier to keep them closed). Swim in a normal stroke but since you do not have the paddle of your hand, you need to concentrate on using your forearm area to pull. The hand should be pointed down and the elbow high during the entire stroke. Try to maintain good balance, extension out in front, and rotation during this drill.
