Training weekend is here!

Hello IronTeam X!!!

Training weekend is only two days away…. ARE YOU READY??? Well just in case you need a camping checklist (like myself) there is one attached. Also attached are the directions and more camping gear to bring.

We will have our honorees Tyler and Laura out there helping to get you through the day and inspire you along your journey. Remember how much of what you are doing is helping out patients and their families. To date this team has raised over $178,000!!!!

 Just a reminder of how the weekend looks:

Friday, March 28:

  • Carpool to Lake San Antonio, arriving by 5pm (which means taking at least a half day off work for most of us—it’s tough setting up a tent & making dinner in the dark!)
  • Set up tent.  Many will look alike, so bring decorations (glow in the dark!?) so you know which one is yours.
  • 7:00 pm: IronTeam All Team Meeting

           

Saturday, March 29:

  • Breakfast on your own/with your mentor group
  • 6:30am -  Register for your Half Way to Iron Tri !!
  • 7:00am –Swim, Bike and Run through the infamous Wildflower Half Ironman course!
  • 5:30pm – TNT team catered pasta meal (a vegan/vegetarian option will be available)–Savor your success!  Post team meal, honoree presentations and what you’ve all been preparing for…. SKITS!! Bring warm clothing.

           

Sunday, March 30:

  • IronTeam Breakfast (bring $10 to pay back our chefs Larry & Nick!)
  • IronTeam Water stop: Support the Spring tri teams by volunteering at the official IronTeam waterstop!
  • Break down tents—pack it up well as it will be used again by TNTers the following weekend!
  • Return home—stop at the In ‘N’ Out in Salinas on your way!
