**Welcome to Week 32 - and the Annual UVAS Triathlon**
We are once again in Week 2 of the cycle – and one week closer to Ironman Race Day. Your coaches are seeing your strength, speed and confidence grow each week. It was very cool seeing you try on your race singlets on Saturday; definitely a reality check for everyone. This is the time during your Ironman training when the schedule gets more demanding, and when you feel more challenged than ever to balance the demands of the training calendar with work, family and other obligations. You may often feel overwhelmed, fatigued and just plain worn out – while simultaneously feeling energized and excited about your new training accomplishments, and of course those new physiques you’ve been sporting! Just know that it is common – even expected – to feel all these seemingly conflicting emotions at this point in your journey to Ironman. It can be an exciting but also anxious time for you. Please remember we are here to listen, empathize and advise. Good luck to all of you who are racing UVAS this Sunday! It is a great little race with first rate food and partying at the finish! Here are this week’s coached workouts: - Tuesday @ 6:30 PM: optional spin session at Sports Basement - - Wednesday @ 6:30 PM: track workout at Kezar and Clark Kerr; IMPORTANT: this is a spinnerval workout so you will need your bike and trainer - Sunday – UVAS Triathlon in Remember the 3 C’s: Commitment – Consistency – Communication. We look forward to seeing you this week!
